<p>This market testing exercise is being undertaken to consider the opportunities for Sefton Council to work with the private sector to achieve investment into the facilities at Southport Golf Links to improve the on-site offer. As such, ideas, thoughts, expressions of interest and proposals are welcomed for future development and/ or management of the playing facility. The fundamental requirements in considering any proposals are that, the course will &bull; Receive investment &bull; Continue to offer access to golfers &bull; Continue to be publicly accessible &bull; Offer reasonable prices that local people can afford &bull; Be accessible to all members of the community &bull; Act as a catalyst for regeneration for the area In recognition of the many options available, the council is willing to consider all business models to achieve its objective to improve the quality of the offer.
