Tender description

Scope of Contracting Entity’s Requirement Dublin Bus are seeking to select a shortlist of suitably qualified building contractor to invite to tender for a roof replacement project at Phibsboro Depot, Constitution Hill, Dublin 7. The existing depot is intended to have an asbestos roof removed and replaced ca. May – August 2021 (subject to tender and funding confirmation). This appointment will include a novation of a PV specialist/electrical contractor; their appointment will be confirmed via a separate process (yet to be completed). Clifton Scannell Emerson and Associates (CSEA) have been appointed to undertake the design of the roof replacement. CSEA are also acting as the project PSDP. The roof to be replaced is ca. 1200m2 single apex roof (north-south aspect) over the main vehicle maintenance workshop. It is a double-height space. The vehicle maintenance workshop is a critical part of the operation of the site and operates 24/7. The core hours of the workshop are generally 07.00 – 16.00 Monday to Friday; this is when staff levels would be highest.
