Tender description

7.1. The Authority currently has a requirement for a Security Service including but not limited to the following: i. Surveillance and monitoring systems e.g. closed circuit television; ii. Control of access, to include management of the Authority's ID/Access Card issues and maintenance of access levels; iii. Security/yard marshal resource; iv. Security/Reception resources; v. Alarm response and management, including, door alarms, panic alarms, personal safety alarms (Skyguard) and bleep systems; vi. Lone worker monitoring; vii. Fire prevention, drills and emergencies; viii. Crime prevention; ix. Lost and found property; x. Liaison with Police and other emergency services; xi. Reporting of incidents and observations xii. Patrols; xiii. Krypton Generator Receipt; xiv. Out of hours material and food deliveries; xv. Escort duties; xvi. Visits from high profile individuals; xvii. Event attendance/support; xviii. Responding to security incidents and other major incidents; xix. Responding to disaster/emergency contingency plans; xx. Missing patient searches; xxi. Management of bleep repairs in conjunction with the Authority; xxii. Supply of all Equipment, Materials and Consumables to carry out the Services; xxiii. Correct use of any Equipment or facilities provided by the Authority including use and maintenance of radios; xxiv. Additional Activities as may present themselves within the duration of the Contract. The Security Service shall be provided 24 hours per day, 365(6) days per year and applies to all areas of the Authority's Sites.
