Consultant Appointment to review Off Street Parking Services in Newport

Newport City Council has recently become the leaseholder for Kingsway multi-storey car park in Newport City Centre. The Council therefore now operates 2 city centre multi-storey car parks, in addition to 6 pay and display car parks across the City. Additionally the Council has recently invested in updating the payment machines in its pay and display car parks as well as in Park Square multi-storey car park and is considering further digital solutions such as cashless parking and digital permits. The Council car parks need to deliver value for money, in addition to being sustainable, able to support business growth in the city of Newport, as well as meeting residents’ expectations and encouraging visitors to the City.
