Amey is seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced sub-contractors to undertake Geotechnical and Ground Investigation works as under: A typical ground investigation will include: * Traffic Management * Cable Percussion Boreholes typically no more than 20m deep * Rotary Drilling follow on, can be either Open Hole or to Produce Continuous Cores, again typically no more than 20m deep, but can be up to 30m. * Hand Dug Inspection Pits * Sampling * In-situ testing * Geophysical Survey * Automatic Groundwater Monitoring Equipment and Inclinometers * Lab testing, including Soil Classification Soil Chemical testing Soil Compaction testing Soil Consolidation testing Soil Shear Strength testing Rock Laboratory testing Groundwater Chemical testing * Factual Reports and AGS data
