The Provision of Maintenance and Repair Services for Valves Preventative and proactive maintenance including inspection and regular servicing, reactive repairs as required and the provision of spare parts Lot 1: United Utilities is currently reviewing their strategy for the Repair and Maintenance of Valves. The scope will include the repair and maintenance of the following types of values: • Pressure Vacuum Relief Valves • Check Valves / Non Return Valves • Penstocks / Gate Valves / Sluice Valves • Valve Actuators By undertaking pre market research, the Company can then evaluate the current market capability and identify whether there is a potential to put in place a single supplier arrangement, or whether it is commercially viable to put in place a multi supplier arrangement.
