Tender description
Further Update: London Borough of Southwark will be holding open events for providers of Children and Young People Residential Homes on the 9th and 10th June to attend focus group meetings with commissioners. The events will start at 14:00 to 16:30 on both days. The key themes for discussion: • Staffing models • What are the elements of a successful service • Community wraparound services • Contracting arrangements Providers who would like to attend the event are invited to express an interest, the event will be held on Microsoft teams and the link will be provided for the events nearer the time. Southwark Council is wishing to engage with providers of children's residential care services, in order to gain an understanding and insight of this market. This market insight questionnaire will provide commissioners with an initial overview of the type, and characteristics of organisations who currently provide children's residential placements. We would like to hear from any organisations who are currently providing these services to further understand: • Size of market • Types of service providers • Types of properties • Potential challenges, issues and/or risks and • Identify gaps. The London Tenders Portal The Council is using the London Tenders portal to conduct this exercise, which can be accessed using this link https://www.londontenders.org/ Providers should express and interest in this opportunity which will then provide access to the project dashboard (DN543415) Children's Residential Home in Southwark - Market Questionnaire. Providers will then be able to upload their market questionnaire response via the messaging facility located on the project dashboard. The use of this system allows a full audit trail of communication with providers to ensure fair treatment as well as to maintain full confidentiality of the questionnaire responses received.
