Hamsterley Bike Park - Concession

Tender description

The lease or licence for the operation of Hamsterley Bike Park, based in County Durham Lot 1: Forestry England intend to tender a concession opportunity to develop, maintain and operate an existing 10 hectare Bike Park in Hamsterley Forest, County Durham in July 2021, due to expiry of the current licence. The site, currently known as Descend Bike Park, is an established advanced cycling destination with a network of downhill trails and features, with a 25 space car park, over-flow car park and space for built facilities and the operation of an minibus uplift service. We intend to hold a series of market engagement events to inform interested companies of our options for the future business opportunity. The purpose of these events is to welcome engagement with the wider market and for potential suppliers to provide feedback on the feasibility of our emerging specification. The events will take place on site at Hamsterley Forest on Tuesday 1st June, and Monday(s) 7th June and 14th June, with individual timeslots available for suppliers at 9am-11am, 12noon-2pm, 3pm-5pm.
