Architectural Services for Development of New Bungalows - King's Road, Holyhead

Tender description

The Council wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Architect for the design of an affordable housing development. The Council wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Consultant to undertake the design of 4 – 6 no. low-carbon bungalows complying with DQR, Lifetime Homes, Secure by Design and Design Commission for Wales Standards. The intention is to apply for Welsh Government grant funding, so all design work will have to follow WG’s procedures for Social Housing Grant. The successful Consultant is to take the design so as to achieve full planning consent (RIBA Stage 3). Subsequent design work will be undertaken by the successful contractor on a design & build contract basis. Tenders must be submitted via the sell2wales postbox facility by 12:00pm on the 02/06/2021. Suppliers are advised to allow adequate time for uploading documents and to dispatch the electronic response well in advance of the closing time to avoid any last minute problems.
