Tender description

The existing main communications room is to be provided with a new Mitsubishi downflow type cooling system to replace the existing currently installed Uniflair system. The contractor shall provide a temporary cooling facility for the duration of the works as there is not adequate space to install replacement units adjacent to the existing and the server room must remain live throughout. The contractor shall act as the main contractor and be responsible for all electrical works, controls wiring and builders work requirements associated with the replacement. Experience of installing Mitsubishi S-MEXT units in a live server room environment is essential. Full details of the Authority's requirements are set out in the Specification in Annex B2 of Section B.
