Copeland Borough Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Ecologist to support the design and delivery of the 'Iron Line' project, to develop a nature inspired route in Millom, Cumbria. This Project is a key scheme within Millom's Town Investment Plan. However, it is expected that a continuation of the contract beyond initial Phase 1 will be awarded (upto a combined total contract period of 5 years), subject to receipt of external funding. This requirement is currently unable to be estimated but it is expected that the full 5 year costs will exceed the TED threshold for Local Authorities at £25k.
