Argyll and Bute Council and Angus Council have a requirement for a practical, pragmatic and independent person/ Company to act in the capacity of Designated Person as defined within the Port Marine Safety Code published by the Department of transport in November 2016 and detailed in A Guide to Good Practice on Port Marine Operations – Prepared in Conjunction with the Port Marine Safety Code published in February 2018.
