SC20039 - Provision of a new build Digital Autopsy Unit

Tender description

On Behalf of The Kent County Council (KCC) (the Contracting Authority), KCC’s GET Capital Projects Department are looking to procure works via the Principal Contractors Framework Lot 2 to provide works up to and including RIBA Stage 7. The contract shall be a KCC Two Stage Design and Build PCSA Agreement. The works required will be to develop a design of the Digital Autopsy building from a RIBA Stage 2 basis utilising the incumbent Architect and Quantity Surveyor and proceeding into construction. The works maybe terminated by KCC at any of the RIBA Stages. Contractors will be selected on the basis of having health or similar construction expertise. There may be a requirement to undertake some demolition works.
