Tender description

Dumfries and Galloway Council are tendering for the renewal of the current (MOP) Meter Operator Contract, commencing on the 1st of June 2021 for a period of 60 months. The Council recognises that an accredited Meter Operator agreement is a mandatory requirement (P272) for all half hourly electricity supplied meters listed (approx. 57). This contract covers the supply of the actual meter, removal after the 60 month term, along with the supporting maintenance and the necessary communications link for sending half hourly consumption data to the Councils energy supplier, currently with EDF Energy inclusive of meter maintenance, however the MOP supplier shall allow for any changes to the named provider.
