ESCC LC Active Travel Initiatives Programme 2021-2022

Tender description

The key objectives of the programme will be to support: o economic recovery and the levelling up of local areas o health and wellbeing 0 net zero carbon emission so greater linkages between infrastructure and initiatives. To support the above, the service proposes to run an active travel engagement project, with three Lots ; one having an emphasis on cycling , one on walking, and one to project manage the programme. There will be a focus on delivering a range of initiatives to support an increase in active travel for everyday journeys. Lot 1: Lot 1 - Active Travel Projects with an emphasis on cycling Active Travel Engagement Project (Workplaces & Unemployed people)2. Cycling engagement project (Education – Primary Schools)3. Active Travel Engagement Project (Communities) integrated as part of the ESCC Active Travel Hubs Lot 2: Lot 2 - Active Travel Projects with an emphasis on walking Walking to school - Incentive Project (primary age)5. Transition year travel project – primary – secondary & secondary – college6. Active Travel Maps –workplaces Lot 3: Lot 3 - Programme Management and Communications of the East Sussex Active travel programme Programme Management and Communications services in relation to the active travel programme.
