Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) is an executive agency of Scottish Government and manages Scotland’s Forest and Land. We manage land on behalf of Scottish Ministers and serve as part of the Environment and Forestry directorate of the Scottish Government. Forestry and Land Scotland have a requirement for the construction of a new road and maintenance of the existing road at Camilty Moss. The road scheme comprises approximately 300m of new forest road construction from the existing forest road to Coupe 98018 at Camilty. There will also be some minor road maintenance works required at this location including the local repairing of potholes, grading, ditching and flailing. New Forestry Road construction involves excavation of the road formation and drainage ditches, the placement of sub-base, metaling and surfacing, the construction of culverts and the development of turning points, passing places and service bays.
