Upgrade of Playground Surface

Tender description

Prestbury Parish Council owns a playground situated off Bollin Grove, Prestbury. SK10 4JJ The playground has a number of pieces of apparatus, some of which are surrounded by a 'wet pour' safety surface. A general sketch (not to scale) of the playground is attached showing the apparatus, the existing 'wet pour' and the boundary. The overall dimensions of the playground are aprox 40m x 15m. Suppliers should satisfy themselves of the measurements and the condition of the playground area. The Parish Council would like a quote for the following work. • To fill in the area within the fence boundary with Wet Pour to match the existing surfaces. In addition, costed separately by item - • A colourful surround around each of the roundabouts. • A 'pathway' in green or multi coloured, please propose a design, going from the gates and linking up the pieces of apparatus to provide a colourful addition to the surfaces. • Replacement bins. The existing bins are in poor condition, the concrete foundations are slipping and these will have to be removed. Please provide options but they must have a lid. Installation must be compliant with the latest British Standard(s), which must be detailed in the quote. Details of guarantees offered must be included. Any conditions or exclusions must be highlighted in any quote.
