Tender description
South Lanarkshire Council currently have arrangements in place with Royal Mail to supply and deliver Postage stamps, with next day delivery. Stamps can be bought from other sources, but no other Supplier will deliver them free on next day basis to all the outlying offices, only Royal Mail has the insured delivery network to do so, as they basically deliver the stamps when the mail is being delivered. Negotiated procedure for South Lanarkshire Council for supply and delivery Postage stamps, with next day delivery. Stamps can be bought from other sources, but no other Supplier will deliver them free on next day basis to all the outlying offices, only Royal Mail has the insured delivery network to do so, as they basically deliver the stamps when the mail is being delivered, so therefore no competition was sought.
