Additionally PURE is the university’s outward facing research portal and enable’s accurate live feeds of research KPIs to our website. The University’s open access and research data management Policies have been developed around PURE and the University’s REF2021 Code of Practice which has been approved by the 4 UK HE Funding bodies also relies on PURE. In going forward there is a lot more functionality in PURE to be implemented as well as a number of integrations with external research systems. We will require PURE in the long-term to ensure continuity of our REF-related activities and our compliance with open access and research data management as mandated by our external funders. moment.
