Qualification system for the supply and delivery of synthetic railway sleepers/bearers. This is a call to competition by IE for the procurement of synthetic railway sleepers and bearers. IE invites applications to participate in the pre-qualification process to appoint suitably qualified companies to a qualification system for the supply of synthetic railway sleepers and bearers,that may arise on an ad-hoc basis. Those companies successfully appointed to the qualification system will receive all future tender enquiries as they arise. This qualification system will have three lots: Lot 1: ISO12856 Type A material – typically for running lines including switch and crossing layouts, bridge waybeams. May also be used in Type B and C applications; Lot 2: ISO12856 Type B material – typically for running lines. May also be used in Type C applications; Lot 3: ISO12856 Type C material typically for yards including switch and crossing layouts.
