Tender description

The services comprise of applied research to demonstrate the impact of temperature control on larval survival and metamorphosis and spat settlement and growth in spatting ponds using different methods, one mechanical and on passive. At least two (2) different settlement materials, one of which is to provide cultchless spat will be tested. The use of a minimum of four ponds will be required for the research to allow for comparison of results from ponds where no intervention is made in relation to temperature. All resulting spat will be made available for further work on native oyster production and habitat restoration.
