This is a prior information notice (PIN) to establish a multi-party framework agreement of four lots for technical support and advisory services to SEAI and organisations undertaking an Energy efficient design project/investment. SEAI intends to publish this tender within the next 12 months. Lot 1: Energy efficient design trainers; Lot 2: Technical project assessors note: this lot may not proceed; Lot 3: Energy efficient design mentors; Lot 4: EED Special working group leaders. The estimated contract term including extensions will be 3 years with the budget subject to the annual government estimates and budgetary process in each of the years in question which are subject to change. Lot 1: Energy Efficient Design Trainers This is a prior information notice (PIN) to establish a multi-party framework agreement of four lots for technical support and advisory services to SEAI and organisations undertaking an Energy efficient design project/investment. SEAI intends to publish this tender within the next 12 months. Please note this is not a competition and we are not seeking tenders at this stage. Lot 1: Energy efficient design trainers will support SEAI in the development and delivery of training on the topic of energy efficient design to the relevant industry stakeholders. The estimated value of this Lot 1 is approximately EUR 150 000 excluding VAT over the entire contract term (maximum of 3 years). The estimated budget for the contract will be subject to the annual government estimates and budgetary process in each of the years in question which are subject to change. Lot 2: Technical project assessors will support SEAI in the evaluation of EXEED stage 2 project grant applications. They will complete a desktop audit (which includes an evaluation of the EXEED project proposals in terms of quality, specification, innovation, value for money and adherence to the energy efficient design approach) and undertake site visits culminating with a technical assessment report submission to SEAI. Note: this lot may not proceed. The estimated value of Lot 2 is approximately EUR 630 000 excluding VAT over the entire contract term (maximum of 3 years). The estimated budget for the contract will be subject to the annual government estimates and budgetary process in each of the years in question which are subject to change. Lot 3: Energy Efficient Design Mentors This is a prior information notice (PIN) to establish a multi-party framework agreement of four lots for technical support and advisory services to SEAI and organisations undertaking an energy efficient design project/investment. Lot 3: Energy efficient design mentors will support SEAI in engaging, mentoring, and providing specialist advice to organisations who are thinking about or currently undertaking an energy efficient design project investment. The estimated value of this Lot 3 is approximately EUR 600 000 excluding VAT over the entire contract term (maximum of 3 years). The estimated budget for the contract will be subject to the annual government estimates and budgetary process in each of the years in question which are subject to change. Lot 4: EED Special Working Group Leaders will support SEAI with the development and facilitation of special working groups (SWGs) focusing on innovation, overcoming barriers and development of new best practice in the area of energy efficient design. These SWGs will target specific sectors and/or technologies facilitating knowledge sharing, stakeholder engagement and best practice guidance development. The estimated value of this Lot 4 is approximately EUR 315 000 excluding VAT over the entire contract term (maximum of 3 years).
