Military Engineer Survey Equipment

Tender description

OI may have a requirement to procure and provide support for Engineer Survey (ES) instruments. ES instruments allow Military surveyors to carry out the following functional requirements: All site levelling tasks including formwork Conduct topographic surveys Carry out hydrographic surveys Conduct tunnelling surveys Collection of accurate intervisible electronic survey data & establish local line of sight control Export topographical data for setting out purposes in industry standard formats Collection of accurate survey data from areas that are not intervisible The current support solution consists of the following types of instrument: Electronic Total Station (ETS), including remote (robotic) operation GNSS Survey Instrument Echo sounder Optical & Digital level Handheld distance meter Construction scanning laser Ancillaries (for example detail poles, tripods etc) are included with the relevant instruments. Contract duration will be discussed with Industry as part of understanding the cost drivers. MOD is looking at industry’s appetite & capability for some, or all, of the following functions: Purchase ES Repair of Capability Lease or Service Provision This PIN is an updated version of the Engineering Survey PIN previously released on the DCO under reference - 2018/S 129-293956 dated 04/07/18. The issuance of this PIN does not commit the Authority to any contracting activity.
