Tender description

The works shall consist of the following scope of works • The removal and disposal of the existing parapet flashing around the full perimeter of the three roof sections. • The removal and disposal of the existing verge flashing to allow for the removal of the internal parapet wall panels. • The removal and disposal of all internal parapet wall panels. • Cut back the existing insulated trapezoidal roof panel. Remove and dispose of the existing gutters. • Overclad the existing roof with Quadcore Trapezoidal Roof Panel KS1000 RW 0.5/0.4 steel, 150mm core thickness, maximum U-Value 0.12W/m2K. Maximum air leakage rate of 1m3/m2/hr. • Install Quadcore Trapezoidal Wall Panel KS1000 RW 05/0.4 Steel (or equivalent approved) 150mm core thickness to replace the cladding on the internal face of the parapet wall designed and fixed in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. • The parapet flashing is to be replaced with new flashing in accordance with the drawings, specifications and manufacturer’s instructions. • Remove, dispose off site and replace rooflight RL42. • Install additional structural steelwork to support the proposed membrane lined gutter. • Install a new membrane lined gutter and connect to the existing downpipes. • All rainwater outlets are to be inspected and cleaned.
