Tender description

Installation of approximately 3.6km of riparian fencing creating a buffer zone of various size, planting of approximately 5000 square metres of native grasses and shrubs, installation of 28 unigates, 24 stiles, 21 80 gallon twin reservoir drinking troughs, 5 14ft galvanised steel sheep gates and 13 solar powered pumps. Several instream measures will be implemented including; pinning of woody material at 7 locations, artificial pool creation at 11 locations, installation of rubble mats at 13 locations, gravel regrading at ten locations, planting of wetland plants in an area of 45 metres squared and creation of artificial meander complexes at 2 locations. These works will take place between co-ordinates 54.875056N, -7.975384W (Irish Grid: 201629E, 403019N) and 54.889283N, -7.962506W (Irish Grid: 202455E, 404603N).
