The procurement process followed the Innovation Partnership procedure and was intended to encourage innovative businesses to help United Utilities tackle key efficiency, safety and customer challenges in innovative ways. The United Utilities Innovation Lab will be a 12-week programme and successful candidates will be co-located and work closely with United Utilities to test, develop, improve and demonstrate their product/service in live customer environments.
