Torque Tool Hire for the provision of specialist tool kits for use across the SSE wind fleet in the UK and Ireland. Lot 1: Mainland UK The hire of tooling kits for use in bolt tightness checks during maintenance/service schedules. This tooling is needed to meet the requirements set out in the service schedules for Siemens, GE and Vestas wind turbine types. A ‘kit’ is a compilation of tools and equipment deemed suitable to affect all torqueing and tensioning applications for either Siemens 1.3 CS, 2.3 CS and VS, Vestas V39, V47 and V52 or GE 1.5 machines. The scope of the service also requires the maintenance, calibration and training of the tools to be provided by the supplier.
