DART+ Coastal – Advance Bridge Clearance Topographic Survey

Tender description

The Iarnród Éireann DART+ Coastal project has an immediate survey requirement to establish and survey a control network that will enable a detailed topographical survey of 16 railway over-bridges on the coastal railway line between Donabate and Dublin. The purpose of the survey is to establish the available clearance space for bridges passing over the railway and allow assessment of safe clearance from proposed electrification equipment. The survey will include a detailed three-dimensioned bridge survey from track level and road level. It is intended to supplement an existing aerial Lidar survey that exists of the rail corridor and seeks to provide an additional level of survey detail for these 16 railway over-bridges. Arup is seeking tenders from suitably experienced and competent surveyors to undertake these surveys for Arup, on behalf of Iarnród Éireann.
