Tender description

The Youth Service aims to provide a wide range of high-quality engaging opportunities and activities for young people aged 11-19 (up to age 25 if they have additional needs) to enable them to build their social and emotional skills, develop their own projects and enjoy safe spaces. \\r\r \\r\r The provision will be divided:\\r\r \\r\r • LOTs 1 SPECIALIST PROJECTS aimed at groups of young people that may require dedicated support. There are 4 sublots.\\r\r \\r\r Lot Number Specialist sublot description Estimated Annual Value \\r\r Lot 1a Arts £70,000\\r\r Lot 1b LGBTQi £25,000\\r\r Lot 1c SEND £50,000\\r\r Lot 1d Junior Transitions £70,000\\r\r \\r\r \\r\r • LOT 2 DETACHED TEAMS that will undertake street-based youth work with hard to reach groups of young people; The lot will cover: North East Quadrant; North East Quadrant; South East Quadrant; South East Quadrant; and Borough Central. Estimated annual value £295,000\\r\r Additional information: Bidders should note that the Contract relates to services that fall under the "light touch" regime of Regulations 74 to 77 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. This Procurement Exercise will therefore be run in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 as they apply to "light touch" services. While the Authority is following a process similar to an Open Procedure to set up a Framework Agreement under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 neither that fact nor any other statements, acts or omissions of the Authority in connection with this Procurement Exercise should be taken as indicating that the Authority intends to be bound by the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 or the general principles of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to any greater extent than applies by law.
