Consultancy support in relation to a Letter Before Action and in preparing evidence for Counsel

The support required is for IPW to assist the Council in preparing the factual information/responses to the NJVG challenge and input into meetings to develop the key messaging/approach. The core areas of support in this first phase are outlined below and it is assumed that these will take place in March 2021 – with the majority of the review work being undertaken in the first 2 weeks. Core support: • Detailed review of the NJVG Letter Before Action • Review of the development agreement in the context of the challenge • Review of the NJVG financial propositions and IPW reports identifying key facts/counterpoints in the context of the challenge • Review of previous data/correspondence/meeting notes/other project related information to assist in preparation of responses to key items raised by the NJVG • Consider any potential counterclaims • Attendance at up to 4 virtual meetings. We anticipate the resource required to undertake the tasks as set out below.
