Tender description

Iarnród Éireann is seeking to establish a framework agreement to facilitate the provision of feasibility, design, planning, tender action and construction supervision and support services in connection with our ongoing obligations under the Disability Act 2005 to make public buildings accessible to people with disabilities. Typical works envisaged under the Accessibility and Car Park Expansion programmes involve improvements to station car parks and buildings, encompassing the provision of pedestrian footbridges, ramps, lift shafts and lifts, hand-railing, lighting, surfacing, public address (PA) systems, Customer Information Signs (CIS), signage etc. The scope of the proposed framework agreement includes the provision of consultancy design services for new stations, construction works such as extensions, upgrades and modifications to existing car parks as well as the provision of new car parks as required across the CIÉ/IÉ Network including Rosslare Europort.
