Requirements Proposals Proposals from Tenderers are being sought to provide a comprehensive cleaning service to the Meán Scoil Mhuire, Longford. It is intended to award a contract to a single service provider. The School requires the provision of a professional cleaning service to the school at competitive prices. A high quality, flexible and responsive service is required combined with continuous improvement and innovation for the 33 weeks of the year on which the school operates ( a school calendar will be issued to the successful tenderer). In addition, it will include the days when state examinations take place(approx 20 days in June) and in addition to work during vacation time as required by the school management. From time to time there may be additional requirements for special attention and preparation in relation to special events. Examples would include but not limited to; - Presentation evenings, - Graduation ceremonies, - Parent teacher meetings, - Sporting events. Such events will be notified by the client well in advance highlighting the requirements. Overview of the School Meán Scoil Mhuire is located at 5 St. Joseph’s Road, Longford. The school is an all female pupil school and has a projected enrolment for September 21 of 600 students. The school’s enrolment can vary from year to year. Currently there are 43 teachers, 2 Special Needs Assistants and 3 Ancillary staff. There are several occasions during the year when extra cleaning services e.g. school events in the evening, such as open evenings, meetings, Parent Teacher Meetings, graduation ceremonies and other special ceremonies
