Basic Asset Protection Agreement relating to Hartlepool Station Capacity Upgrade (GRIP 1-3)

Tender description

Provision of a Basic Asset Protection Agreement (BAPA) with Network Rail to support the GRIP 1-3 development work. Network Rail Services for GRIP 1-3 development within the BAPA include: • provision of Network Rail sponsor support to provide guidance to the Customer; • preparation, facilitation and conclusion of any further agreements with the Customer; • provision of guidance on applicable Network Rail Procedures/Requirements and Standards; • provision of Network Rail record drawings and services information where available; • attendance at meetings; • review of method statement/risk assessments/ health and safety plans/ Asset Management Plans/ environment plans/ safety management plans; • appointment of project engineers for applicable engineering disciplines to undertake design review and acceptance or no objection where necessary; • issue of access permits or track visitor permits; • provision of site safety staff to ensure a safe system of work on Network Rail property; • review of Work Package Plans submitted by the Customer.
