CWC on behalf of the partners sought to appoint a specialist commercial advisor who will advise on approaches to marketing Canalside South with a view to maximising the regeneration benefits and quality of the end scheme, positioning the opportunity as positively as possible to the market and ensuring commercial returns to the partners. There will be a requirement to work with the partners in shaping a delivery, marketing and procurement approach for the developer that is compliant with the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The appointed commercial adviser will be required to establish a Strategy, develop a business case, market the site, identify a suitable developer and subsequently manage the contract towards completion in conjunction CWC and its project team, including the with the appointed legal advisors. It is vital that the appointed consultant possesses a strong mix of commercial skills and local market exposure.
