Welsh Government is gradually unlocking the visitor economy through a series of phases which will see increasing numbers of visitors to Pembrokeshire as the season progresses. One important aspect of our approach to safe unlocking of the visitor economy is communications to visitors. There is an important strand of work, both digital communications and radio (the latter links to good weather days when high numbers of visitors are anticipated) to get key messages to visitors who are planning a visit or are en-route to Pembrokeshire. Encouraging them to avoid overcrowded areas and to respect the area they are visiting, in line with the national Visit Wales ‘Addo’ promise campaign.
