This is a call to competition by IE for the procurement of ‘Building Maintenance Works’ (the “Contract”). This is advertised on etenders as reference.. Iarnród Éireann-Irish Rail (“IE”), requires for the following services to be maintained; (a) CME Building Maintenance – Dublin (Inchicore Railway Works, Heuston Valeting Plant, Heuston Platform Support, Connolly Valeting Plant and platform support areas, CME North Wall, Dublin Fairview Depot) (b) CME Building Maintenance – Portlaoise Traincare Depot (c) CME Building Maintenance – Cork & Limerick (d) CME Building Maintenance – Drogheda General Duties Below is a list of the main duties • General Carpentry Work • Repairs to doors, windows and fitting of new units • Fitting door furniture and door closers and renewing locks • Gutter and soffit repairs and replacement • Supplying and fitting shelving to order • Roof repairs • Cleaning of roof gutters and downpipes • Small glazing repairs • Road and floor cutting for service ducts and re-instatement afterwards and general road repair • Installation of internal or external fencing • Repair or replacement of manhole covers • Repair to drains and sewers / water pipe • Small block laying and plastering jobs • Shuttering and laying of foundations for machinery • Painting (interior and exterior) • Emergency tasks that are causing safety issues on site • Site/office clearance to truck or skip • General Electrical work • General Plumbing work • Excavation works • Asbestos removal • Working at heights • Gas works maintenance • ISO 9001 • OHSAS 18001
