Brentford Waterside Block D Mini-Competition

Tender description

The project is for a mixed-use development comprising the design & construction of 96no affordable housing residential dwellings and flexible commercial floorspace (Class A1/A2/A3/A4/B1 & D1 use) with associated public realm improvements, landscaping and car parking on the site known as Brentford Waterside Block D, 98-109 High Street, Brentford, TW8 8AE. The development consists of three blocks which are to be constructed to a range of heights between six and eight stories and connected by a ground floor podium level. The completed development will provide circa 7,600m2 (GIA) of new living space in the three blocks with a mix of 1-bed, 2-bed, 3-bed and 4-bed units, including four duplexes on the top levels of each block. In addition, the works include 1,225m2 of commercial retail space, new services infrastructure and drainage, plus external works consisting of a common yard including 20 car spaces, bicycle racks, landscaping and amenity spaces.
