Award of local Quote for Welding Booths and Extraction Fans. Local Quote Exercise done due to urgency required to fit in with timings of main construction project. The cost of the project was anticipated to be below the GBP 50,000 regulated limit, however initial quotes came back higher than anticipated. Due to timings of the main construction project, there was not the time to do a tender process and ensure the contractor could be on site to work with the main construction contractor before the end of the main project.
