Tender description

The Royal Borough of Greenwich (Local Authority) is seeking to award a contract or contracts to suitable suppliers to provide the following Family Support Services: a) Parenting Support Services b) Supervised Contact Services The commissioned provider(s) will work in partnership with the council to deliver effective and efficient services to improve outcomes for local children and young people, and in children in care, children in need and their parents and families. The contract is divided into two lots and tenderers can bid for one or both lots: Lot 1 Parenting Support involves the provision of parenting support services for families with children and young people up to 18 years of age who need care and protection (as defined by The Children Act 1989). Parents referred to the service may be experiencing a range of difficulties in relation to their parenting skills, that are impacting the health and well-being of their children. Lot 2 Supervised Contact The Supervised Contact Service enables contact for children who are looked after by Royal Borough of Greenwich or whose care plan or child protection plan sets out the need for contact with family members to be supervised.
