School's Health & Wellbeing Survey 2021-2030

Understanding the health needs of children and young people is a priority in Bath & North Somerset (B&NES). Great significance is placed on hearing the voice of the child and maximising the opportunity to hear from as many children and young people across the authority, through a variety of methods. One of these methods is through the school’s health and wellbeing survey (SH&WS). Since 2011, the Health Related Behaviour Questionnaire (HRBQ) has been commissioned and offered to all state funded schools in B&NES on a biennial basis, occurring every two years. The well-established online survey tool provides valuable intelligence and insight about health and other needs and behaviours of children and young people. This data is used to assist with the planning of services and interventions to ensure they meet the health and welfare needs of children and young people. Keywords: Schools, Health, Wellbeing
