<p>North East London CCG (NEL CCG) is seeking a provider that has the capability to deliver a VAT Advisory Service, the details are set out in Section A of the procurement documentation. VAT Services Overview VAT is charged on a variety of goods and services purchased. The VAT rules and regulations are complex and many invoices that include VAT may be incorrect where VAT is charged in error or the invoice should have been VAT exempted. The services we are looking to procure will be considered at VAT contracted out service (&ldquo;COS&rdquo;) for VAT advice, analysis and reconciliation to the CCG. The requirements of this contract are set out below &ndash; &bull; VAT review &ndash; including contracted out services adjustments, and capital adjustments &bull; Business activities review &ndash; input tax recovery and tax adjustments &bull; Partial exemption calculation &ndash; including year-end adjustment &bull; HRMC compliance &ndash; checking and reporting &bull; VAT advice on specialised arrangements for health and social care &ndash; eg Local Authority arrangements &bull; Support &ndash; adhoc nature for general queries, training and consultancy. The duration of the contract is 1 year with an option to extend the contract for another 1 year. Therefore, the contract shall have a maximum term (if extended following the Initial Term) of 24 months unless earlier terminated. Fees will be based on percentage of savings to be made, and we invite suppliers to include the percentage of fees anticipated as part of their submission. This RFQ is published as a call for competitive procurement exercise that is being conducted via Procontract e-tendering portal. The RFQ will be advertised via Contract Finder. Interested parties wishing to participate must register on ProContract https://procontract.due-north.com/ as a supplier and register an interest in this RFQ Procurement Exercise.
