<p>We have created our State of the Borough report, gathering information to highlight the complexity of the structural inequalities faced by many residents in Waltham Forest. We know people often experience a combination of structural inequalities that shape their lives, which is why we have created the State of the Borough as an evidence base of how structural inequalities impact the lives of our residents. Interested bidders should email us to ask to see the State of the Borough report, which is an evidence base for this engagement, as this has not yet been published through our Cabinet process and is not to be shared. Building on this work, we now want to commission an organisation with equalities expertise and experience of community engagement or co-production to develop and deliver innovative participatory involvement with our local communities. We want the focus of the engagement to be on the making a living theme set out in the State of the Borough, which is not just about employment rates or traditional measures such as pay gaps between groups with protected characteristics. We want this engagement to unpick the full experiences of residents making a living, getting to the heart of barriers people face in financially supporting themselves and their families.</p> Keywords: Equlity
