Website Development Consultancy Services (2 Year Term)

Tender description

Crown Estate Scotland needs the services of a web developer to: - Maintain, support and develop our external websites ( Crownestatescotland.com and glenlivetestate.co.uk ) - Maintain, support and develop our intranet which is externally accessible but to be protected by Azure AD authentication. We require approximately 1.5 day per month from an experienced web developer to: - Take over management of existing web and intranet sites - Work with and maintain a custom, open-source CMS - Take over the management of our existing hosting arrangements. This includes server configuration, patching, firewalling and backups. - If required at a future date, manage the transition of our sites to alternative providers They should be comfortable working in a LAMP environment built on a Symfony framework, and should also have good working knowledge of project management and collaboration tools such as Basecamp. The designer should be able to provide examples of previous sites they have built and maintained under similar conditions. They will be expected to implement and maintain best practice standards for accessibility on our sites. They will be expected to develop to best practice security standards, and resolve any vulnerabilities detected during a weekly Qualys scan and resolved within the specified SLAs.
