Tender description

To facilitate public consultation, Sligo County Council is seeking a provider of an online consultation platform with proven experience of customising that platform for local government clients. The services consists of the provision, installation, configuration and support of an online consultation portal, integrated with Sligo County Council’s online presence, through which the public can respond to surveys and make submissions on various types of consultations, such as:  Development Plan review and variations;  Local area plans and variations;  Part 8 development proposals;  Local Economic and Community Plan consultations;  speed limit reviews;  proposed new housing;  extinguishment of rights of way;  tree and heritage surveys;  proposed refurbishment works;  occasional surveys;  various non-statutory policy documents. The portal must enable participation in surveys directed at Local Authority staff, Elected Members, citizens or businesses. The portal must have the flexibility to cater for specific requirements of complex consultation processes like those related to the County Development Plan and local area plans. These complex consultation processes will require interfacing with multiple backend systems. The portal must be able to produce outputs in the form of reports and visualisations based on submissions to any consultation or survey.
