R0070 Cold Water Storage Tank Removal and Associated Works @ 21 Sites

Tender description

Radius Housing Association wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor(s) to provide the works in connection with Cold Water Storage Tank removal and associated works at 21 sites. The works include for the change from cold water storage tank feed system to a mains feed system and for the replacement of hot water cylinders(where required) at 21 sites country wide. Also included are the disconnections, temporary works to ensure services remain live, removal of all redundant tanks, cylinders and pipework, all new cold water feed connections (by passing pipework) to reconnect system and any electrical alteration necessary and associated with the works to the hot water cylinders replacement and tank removals etc. The works also include for all builders works in connection with the works and include for all holes, tracking, chases etc, including making good, fire stopping and proofing holes, supports as required, opening ceilings to remove tanks and making good on completion, removal of plantroom doors and frames and reinstatement / making good / redecoration etc. as required for complete installations. All the works include for the supply, delivery, off-loading, receiving, setting into position, fixing, erection, building, protection, installation, setting to work, testing and commissioning and finishing in every respect.
