Tender description

Lot 1: The provider will deliver the Southend Sexual Health Service (‘SSH Service’) Levels; 1, 2 and 3 Genitourinary Medicine (GUM) Sexual Health Services for people who self-refer/or who are referred into the SSH Service by other key partners. The SSH Service will provide open access, cost-effective, high quality, confidential provision for; prevention contraception, pregnancy testing, contraceptive health services, testing, diagnosis, treatment, support and management of sexually transmitted infections services according to evidence-based protocols and to the needs of local populations. Lot 2: The sexual health promotion and prevention service will include the delivery of community-based health promotion and prevention activities relating to human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in Southend-on-Sea. The sexual health promotion and prevention service is designed to improve knowledge around HIV and STIs, reduce the stigma associated with HIV and STIs, and promote access to testing in local Sexual Health Services.
