Tender description

This is a 6-month extension to the access to healthcare in DRC (Appui au Systeme de Sante en RDC-ASSR) Programme that will continue to focus on improving maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health by addressing key health issues such as nutrition, family planning, maternal care and prevention and management of childhood illness (including malaria). It will support the delivery of basic health services giving an estimated 9 700 000 people improved access to healthcare - provide a facility for FCDO to support preparedness and response work for health emergencies with a focus on global health security and disease outbreaks. Contract amendment 4: This further 6-month extension until 25 April 2022, will enable FCDO to continue support for frontline primary health services and minimise the gap between the access to the healthcare in the DRC (Appui au Systeme de Sante en RDC-ASSR) Programme concluding and the long term delivery intervention being arranged. This will be the final contract amendment and no further extensions will be permitted.
