A12 to A120 Widening - DIP estimate review Following the latest revision of the cost estimate and draft DIP budget, the DIP have submitted a budget that is in excess of the available funds. The project team have been asked Cost Planning to review the submission prepared by the DIP to understand where the differences lie. Initially there will be check of the reference data to ensure that there is consistency between the two estimates. Further involvement by the CPSP on the estimate checks/reviews will be instructed by the Estimating Manager. Attendance and participation at project team meetings is requested of the CPSP to complete this works. Follow on work is likely to be required also under this request. A66 NTP - Stage 3 Estimate Scope is likely to exceed that of a standard Developing Estimate given it is a Tier 1 scheme. This will likely involved additional outputs being produced for the project team as well as more attendance at internal meetings. M3 J9 - VE Works Following the latest revision of the cost estimate and draft DIP budget, the DIP have submitted a budget that is in excess of the available funds. The project team, along with the DIP have been asked to explore whether there are any value engineering opportunities in the scheme's design. Attendance and participation is requested of the CPSP to complete this works. Follow on work is likely to be required also under this request. RIS3 Pipeline Inflation - Using the an updated inflation profile to be provided by Highways England, re-calculate the value of inflation across all schemes within the RIS 3 portfolio - Approach to be assured by Highways England before release to HoCP - Table outputs and report them back to the HoCP HS2 - M6 J15 - Provide the HS2 team with some high-level costs of construction for two proposed layouts to Junction 15 on the M6 - Outputs are required within a 2-week timescale - Due to this compressed deadline, it was agreed that only the cost of construction comprising; direct works, indirect works, unscheduled item allowance and contractor fee, would be produced for this request.
