Central Referral Service and GP with Special Interest Services for West Essex

Tender description

This notice is to notify the market of the decision to award a contract for Central Referral Services (CRS) and GP with Special Interest Service (GPSI) to its incumbent provider, Stellar Healthcare Limited. The Central Referral Service (CRS) is a patient-centred service which books referrals to specialist from GP practices in Harlow and Epping. The aim of the service is to provide care closer to home in a community setting - where it is clinically appropriate to do so. The contract is a short-term 12 month contract starting on 1st April 2021 and finishing on 31st March 2022. West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group are currently reviewing the future of these services. This additional contract term will allow the evaluation to be completed in a robust manner to inform how the services will be commissioned from 1st April 2022 in line with the needs of the patient population.
