Support Services for the Marine Institute’s Explorers Education Programme

Tender description

The Marine Institute, a semi State body, wishes to invite tenders for the supply of Support Services for the Marine Institute’s Explorers Education Programme from 1st July 2021 to 30th June 2023. The Support Services Provider will support the Explorers Education Programme with services in following areas: 1. Support the Explorers Education Programme Outreach Centres with their delivery of Explorers modules to primary schools in Ireland. 2. Provide ocean themed Continued Professional Development Training for primary school teachers. 3. Provide training for student teachers. 4. Assist with marine science and educational events and projects, and assist with the Explorers Education Programme marketing, communications and social media activities. 5. Assist with the Explorers Education programme evaluation processes and collation of data. 6. Support Services Project Planning / Remote planning. The Marine Institute wishes to establish a contract for delivery of these services for a 2 year period from 1st July 2021 – 30th June 2023. Applicants that have an interest in working for the Marine Institute, supporting the Explorers Education Programme are invited to apply for annual funding from 1st July 2021 – 30th June 2023.
